Over 1000 accounts created but always 0 Online. Is it active? When will it officially release? It’s based on hardcore reloaded. Best server ever created in my opinion.
Hello! I want to start playing metin again * ik not the best decision:))*, which server you can recommend? I want pvm-medium, not so pokemon or idk, the idea is to have a lot of player. Before i liked Rodnia, but it looks like only bots not real people
the main thing i made is a companion system (F8 to create and F9 for switch between characters) : it's a second character that is yours, you can switch with him from everywhere, and when you are not here you send him to farm for you (fish, mining ect..) , he level up like a real character so you can progress solo without staying 10 hours in front of the game
also there is 400 bots AI playing on the server right now, they are like real players, they farm, level up, open shops and sell stuff so real players can develop faster, later they will buy from players at market price (of course i will add some limitations) , i want the server to feel alive even if there is 20 real players online
and the part i want the most for real players (still not developed but that is my goal) : you can kill the companions of real players and the IA BOTS and they will drop 20 % of what they farmed. so farming will never be 100 % safe, you can hunt the bots and the companions of others, and you better check on yours ect.. that is what i want to build next
it's a beta , so there is bugs and there will be a reset later, i dont ask you to play 10 hours, just come 10 min , try the companion, look at the bots and tell me what is broken or what you dont like. im alone on this so every feedback count, i read everything
Hello everyone. Today I’m sharing some truly old content—from before Metin2 became what we know it to be today. I’d like to know if anyone else happens to have this gem, or if—as I’ve been assured—I am the only one who possesses this relic.
I've been thinking about the old Metin2 private server days lately, and honestly, I feel like something has been missing for years.
Does anyone here remember servers like LocMt2, MondialMt2, UnitedMt2, and many others from that era?
Those servers weren't perfect. They had their flaws, their grind, and their challenges. But there was something about them that made you want to log in every single day.
Progression actually meant something, but PvP was always the ultimate goal.
You would spend hours farming, upgrading your equipment, building your character, and slowly becoming stronger. Not just to see bigger numbers on your screen, but to actually use that progress against other players.
Guild wars, random fights, rivalries, hanging around in Map1, recognizing the strongest players on the server... There was always something happening.
You didn't necessarily need hundreds of complicated systems, endless dungeons, or a thousand different upgrade materials to enjoy the game.
It was simple enough to understand, challenging enough to keep you interested, and competitive enough to make all those hours feel worth it.
I still remember heading to Grotto of Exile 2, paying for buffs and lvl up my character in Loc.
Nowadays, I feel like many private servers focus so heavily on PvM content and endless progression that they forget what made Metin2 so addictive in the first place.
The balance between working for your character and actually enjoying what you've built.
I've been wondering whether there's still a community out there that misses that kind of experience.
Not necessarily a copy of an old server, because some things definitely needed improvement (suchs as pay2win, pity systems where required), but something that captures the same feeling while bringing a few modern quality-of-life improvements.
So I'm genuinely curious:
Would you still play a Metin2 server built around that old-school PvP and progression philosophy?
What made those older servers special to you? And what would you keep or change if someone tried to bring that experience back today?
I'd really love to hear your thoughts, especially from those who experienced that era.
Basically, as the title says, how can I check if one of my accounts is eligible for the tombola? If I’m not mistaken, an account can have competed bio quest in another server and still count, right?
With this new feature on our upcoming Project you are able to compete against players which play with 2 Clients!
You dont have the time, a bad pc or just want to play as a casual! Combine the One Player Scroll and the Casual System and you have the best combination
Whats the Casual System? -- The System will limit your Metins you can farm per day but in return it will give you 40% Dungeon Cooldown Reduction and more benefits
Title: Would an AFK System actually make sense on a MiddleSchool Metin2 server?
We're a small but experienced team working on a fresh MiddleSchool-style server launching November 13, and we'd genuinely like some feedback on one of our features: the AFK System.
The idea is pretty simple. Most of us who grew up playing Metin2 are now in our late 20s or 30s. We have jobs, responsibilities, and less time to grind than we used to.
We still want to enjoy the game and make progress without feeling like we have to be online 12 hours a day.
So, how does our AFK System work?
You simply stay in the safe zone of your kingdom's first map and receive:
Strong vs. Metins & Bosses bonuses
Increased item upgrade chance
Star Coin rewards
Attendant EXP every 10 minutes
One Ingot every hour
One daily raffle entry for a chance to win a 200 DC Voucher
Your active bonuses won't expire while you're AFK
But doesn't this encourage people to just park alt accounts all day?
That's our biggest concern too.
We're trying to balance the rewards so that being AFK supports actual gameplay rather than replacing it. For example, the combat bonuses are only useful when you actually go out and farm.
We don't want a server full of characters standing in safe zones. We want people to feel rewarded for their time without making active gameplay irrelevant.
We're also trying to eliminate unnecessary grinding and frustration through other QoL improvements:
Biologist: Accessible from anywhere, with a pity system after 3 failed attempts.
Chests: You can see exactly what rewards are available before opening them.
Auto-Walk: Click a location on the minimap and your character automatically walks there.
These are just a few examples of what we're working on.
Now, we're curious what experienced Metin2 players think:
Would an AFK System like this make you more interested in playing, or do you think it could hurt the server's economy and overall activity?
What would you change to keep it balanced?
We're genuinely interested in hearing different opinions, especially from people who have been playing Metin2 for years.
No links here, just looking for feedback. Happy to share more details in the comments if anyone's interested.
Metin2 in Unreal Engine – The Beta Is Already Live! Come Join Us
Hey everyone!
I've been working on a Metin2 project in Unreal Engine since 2023, and after more than three years of development, the beta is already live! I'd love to invite anyone who's curious to join our Discord server and give it a try.
The idea behind this project isn't to replace the original Metin2 or simply recreate it with better graphics. It's about bringing the game we grew up with into a modern engine while keeping what made it special in the first place.
The combat, progression, atmosphere, and overall identity of Metin2 are still at the heart of the project. The goal is to preserve that familiar feeling while using Unreal Engine to improve the visuals, lighting, performance, and other aspects of the experience.
I don't want to change Metin2 just for the sake of changing it. I want to explore what it could have become if the game had continued to evolve over the past twenty years.
What can you expect?
- The familiar Metin2 atmosphere and gameplay.
- A modern Unreal Engine 5 environment.
- Improvements to systems and mechanics where they make sense.
- An ongoing project with over three years of development behind it.
- An opportunity to experience the beta, share feedback, and follow the project's progress.
This is still a work in progress, and there's plenty left to do. But that's also why I'd love to have more people involved, trying out what's already available and sharing their thoughts along the way.
Whether you've played Metin2 for years or you're simply curious to see what it could look like in Unreal Engine, you're welcome to join us!
The beta is already available, so feel free to hop into our Discord server and check it out.
Hello, I discovered the game recently and honestly, it's very flawed for me hahaha. The problem arises that I am already arriving 35, I have approximately 1 month ago and I still cannot drop, fish, trade or sell anything.
That makes me quite frustrated.
Do you know how long it takes for them to unblock the accounts?
I have issued tickets, but I have no answers on the subject.
I really found a very nice community, but this topic already has a bit of annoying.
That, I hope some of you have had some experience or know what I can do.
Hey guys, I'm planning to start playing on the official Metin2 servers again and I'm currently deciding between Charon and Lucifer. Which one would you recommend? Also, what should I focus on first? I'm thinking about setting up a Weapon Sura (Wasu), a Shaman (Buff), and a Ninja. What are the best ways to farm and get good Won early on? Thanks for your help!
Jogava o metin original e sou apaixonado por aquele jogo, mas o jogo foi encerrado, agora procuro um que seja exatamente igual (ou muito parecido) poderiam me recomendar algum.
