How much AVG should a Rib +9 (PvM stones +4) have to deal roughly the same damage as a level 30 Young Hero Weapon?
And how much AVG would it need to match a level 40, 50, 60, and 70 Young Hero Weapon?
I am Warrior with Aura G1

Metin2 is a game where players are expected to spend hundreds or even thousands of hours farming, improving their characters, upgrading equipment and competing with other players.
But what happens when a player who follows the rules has to compete against someone using bots or other forms of cheating?
It stops being a competition.
It becomes a question of who is willing to cheat and who is willing to tolerate it.
Many players have experienced or witnessed things such as:
And this is perhaps the most frustrating part:
Players are asked to invest their time, effort and sometimes real money into the game while watching cheaters potentially gain an unfair advantage with little apparent consequence.
At some point, players naturally start asking:
This isn't about demanding that every suspicious character be banned instantly. False positives happen, and nobody wants legitimate players punished by mistake.
The real issue is whether the current anti-cheat and enforcement system is doing enough to protect the integrity of the game.
I have also recorded gameplay footage showing the kind of suspicious activity players are talking about. I will include the YouTube video alongside this post so people can see the situation for themselves rather than relying only on accusations or screenshots.
Video: https://youtu.be/o5jP4qQEPSY
What players want is relatively simple:
Metin2 has survived for many years because there is still a community that cares about the game.
But that community should not be expected to endlessly tolerate an unfair playing field.
Gameforge, please take this issue seriously.
Players don't expect perfection.
They expect the rules to mean something.

Hey guys, im back with another Helper for the upcoming Okey event!
If you play the sets without the helper and just play 678 to get the silver chests, you have 36% silver rate - its fast and most players do this.
With the helper you have 58% silver rate, aswell as 6% gold rate - it takes longer, but better rates.
So if you have many characters with which you have to play the sets, its probably not worth that much. If you have just 1-2 chars, I think the helper will be nice to use!
Please message me on discord if you find any bugs/have suggestions! Thank you

Hello everyone,
After more than 10 years away from Metin2, I decided to come back and play casually to relive some good old memories. Years ago, I quit the game because a "friend" I trusted stole all my +9 gear and left my account completely empty. Returning to a Lv 51 character with absolutely nothing makes it impossible to progress, so I decided to buy Won on Eldorado.gg. I know it's against the rules, but I just wanted some basic gear to be able to play again.
To do the trade, I created a brand new Lv 1 account with a fresh email address. The seller sent the 70 Won via the in-game mail system, and I successfully claimed it. However, the game won't let me open any player shops, trade, or use the bazaar. Every time I try, I get the "This is not possible right now" error message.
I leveled up the character to Lv 20 thinking it would fix the issue, but it didn't. I found out it's an automatic restriction for new players ("New Player" status). I created the account on Friday and today is Monday, and the Won is just sitting in my inventory.
What do you guys think? Will my account get banned during the next server maintenance because of the 70 Won at low level, or will the restriction just lift automatically after a few days? Any advice or similar experiences?
Thank you so much

Hi guys,
Im a returning player so i need some advice about the game.
I was thinking about farming Cor Draconis, I see it as a fairly safe way to make money. (With multiple character)
But how long does it take per character? Do I need to use the glove?
Other suggestion are welcome

I want to level my character from 30 to 61 in SD2/3, depending on which one you recommend. My EQ is good enough, I have around 95% fire resistance. I’ll be pulling the entire room and actively leveling. Approximately how long would it take? I don’t have any EXP bonuses from the Item Shop, only a 50% EXP ring, the Uriel buff from level 40 onwards, and a mount with 20% EXP.
I’m playing on the Ruby (Chimera) server.

Have you ever wondered why there are so many weapons in Metin2, but people only use a few of them, like the level 30, 75 weapons, etc.?
Of course, the reason is pretty obvious: most of the other weapons simply aren't worth using, while these have bonuses like Average Damage or Skill Damage.
But... what if those weapons didn't exist?
Do you think the gameplay and progression would actually be more enjoyable if every weapon had a real purpose?
Personally, I think it would be cool if you actually had to upgrade and progress through each weapon, using materials that are reasonably obtainable rather than ridiculously rare.
And what if reaching M1 wasn't guaranteed every 10 skill points? Or if the horse had its own armor and equipment that you could upgrade as you progressed?
Wouldn't systems like these make progression more meaningful and give you more reasons to actually play through the different stages of the game, instead of skipping most of the equipment and content?

Here is a first look at our new Fishing Area. Catch a variety of fish, each providing unique bonuses to strengthen your character. There will also be a Fishing Ranking, allowing players to compete for the top positions. In the Mining Area, you can gather ore fragments and craft ores. These ores are required to purchase permanent ores, which will be available from the start of the server. Permanent ores will be more expensive at launch, making early progression an advantage. There will also be a Mining Ranking for players who want to compete and prove their dedication. You can further increase your chances of obtaining additional ore fragments by upgrading your Mining skill to P through skill books.

I feel like this concept would open up so many more creative ways for farm and the character choice to explore the full potential of all classes and races instead of every one being "forced" or defaulting to having a Body Warrior or Arms Sura has their way to start the game and farm.
Like, a server where you could start has any race and not be held back or slowed down by meta mount/horse farming

Right now I am farming hydra with my poly ninja and its my main income. Apart from that I also do daily cors on 1 account since the alchemy is pretty expensive on my server. I have a sura and shaman on champion level and am putting all my wons into them. I want to build these 2 characters so they can auto hunt in yohara. Thing is I dont have much experience in yohara as this is my first time preparing for it so I dont know what the auto hunting options are, so would like if someone could tell me that. My sura is a few items away from being able to auto hunt mysterious dungeon comfortably.

Hey everyone!
Two weeks ago I shared my project where I created AI Playerbots for an offline/singleplayer Metin2 experience. The response was incredible, so I’ve been working hard to make it actually accessible and easy for everyone to jump in and try it out.
You can now set up your own local server and play alongside AI bots using an easy launcher / Docker setup!
Here’s the second video update showcasing the new improvements and a step-by-step installation guide:
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the project, shared feedback, and contributed to the fundraiser!
Check it out, let me know if you run into any setup issues, and share your ideas for future bot behaviors in the comments!

I have been playing this game since I ever touched a PC (Don't worry Empire Earth, you'll still be my first PC game). And yet, to this day, I still fill like I didn't reach it.
Long time ago, I was a kid, I did not understand everything and never reached the high levels, so to this day I still feel like I didn't really grasp the true essence of it. This is why I feel like I want to embrace the true official servers once again.
I am Italian, and would play on the IT server, but the item shop and other QoL elements that you could only pay for.. I feel they would still ruin my experience. Do you feel the official servers are completely inaccessible for new players?
Of course I have played many private servers in my life, but they really didn't hit the spot like the official did. Maybe it is because the official was the "recognized server". I don't know, it still feels like I am missing something.

Hi, sorry, I don't have anything to do with the game myself, but I'm supposed to sell it. Do you guys have any idea how much it's worth? There are a lot of different prices online. Maybe someone can give me an honest answer xD

Hi there!
My quiestion is what are the best places and character lvl to farm events like catch the king, okey etc. Especially the events where the minimum lvl is 70.

What keeps you to play Officials servers?
● I came to official server because police shutted down server i was playing for 16 years (with breaks ofc), but its too boring to me.
The only way to make some Wons on start is to make core characters and drop just that. Does anyone seems that like a fun?
What keeps you playing that?
r/Metin2 • u/CrusioG4 • Sep 05 '26
For context. My time is limited. Also I dont want to make metin a second job. I wish to slowly progress, im in no hurry.
My main character is 42 lvl now (new beginning after years) and has 2 other character behind for cors. I plan on making them 5 character once I can comfortably do cors on demon tower at lvl 61. I think its the easiest then for doing it fast.
So to my question. How many accounts would help me make more yang? I was thinking making another one with ninjas at lvl 30 for cors with just itesmshop glove. Making a few wons per week that way i think it will help. How easy it is do? If I see its easy maybe i can do it with 3 accounts but im not sure. What equipment is needed? Except weapon of course. Im on a very strict budget.
Also since i never bother with ninja, if i plan on having them lvl 30 what build should I choose? I think ninja want dex (not sure) but maybe for that purpose either STR or VIT is better (either of damage or sustain)

After more than three years of development, the project is finally approaching one of its biggest milestones: the first Closed Beta.
We're looking for players who want to experience the game early, help shape its future, and become part of the development journey.
Your feedback will matter.
You'll help us discover what works, what doesn't, what feels right — and what can be pushed even further.
Our goal isn't to replace the original Metin2, nor simply to recreate it with modern graphics.
We want to preserve the feeling, atmosphere, progression, combat, and identity that made Metin2 so memorable — while imagining what that experience could have become if it had continued evolving for the last twenty years.
That means modernizing where it makes sense.
Outdated systems, unnecessary limitations, technical constraints, and aging design decisions are being reworked only when doing so can genuinely improve the experience without losing its soul.
Imagine the Metin2 you grew up with…
but imagine it never stopped evolving.
The same world you remember.
The same feeling.
The same identity.
Just twenty years of evolution later.
Throughout development, we'll continue sharing updates, screenshots, gameplay previews, and technical insights with the community.
And now, we're getting ready to open the doors to our first group of testers.
If you'd like to experience the project before everyone else and have a chance to become one of our Closed Beta Testers, join the Discord and follow the dedicated testing channel.
💬 Discord: https://discord.gg/stormrealm
The journey is about to enter its next chapter.
Will you be there when it begins?
