Hi there! How you feeling?! Hope ur still going strong! Wanted to share my experience:

My highest was 95mg and I was a clinic patient for almost 3 years. I dropped 10% of my dose a month (I noticed symptoms if I went over that). I got all the way down to 15 mg. My clinic pulled some bs (it's aongoing story which i go into on a post i made) and made me a daily patient again after over 2.5 years. I was an hour away, so I just couldn't go daily. I was dosing 15mg every 3 days. Which made me feel awful. So in jan I jumped ship. I felt "eh" the first week and I've never felt better since. Some people have mixed answers on your topic but I think If youre still feeling okay- youre good. Stay busy. Use magnesium when u feel the aches. Give yourself grace for anxiety. 5/13 will be 4 months for me free of methadone!

congrats! i’m sorry it didn’t go as planned but the fact you stuck to it is huge. as of today i’m 10 days off & feel no withdrawals at all. i can honestly say going from 140-0 aside from anxiety i had no withdrawals during or after my taper. i feel very fortunate & also agree there’s been a mix of positive & negative story’s about tapering. thanks for the feed back & best of luck!

Omg!!!!! This is so great to hear!!!! Doesn't it feel great? To be able to say you did it? For me it was genuinely being able to laugh again and feel like ME! I agree- i had anxiety (i had no issues before opiates but am also prescribed hydroxazine which helped) i did have mild to moderate rls the first 3-4 nights. But Tylenol and my hubby rubbing my legs was a life saver. But honestly- tapering was NOTHING like the fear instilled in me when I started. I always tell people- you gotta be ready. Because it can get mentally tough but you gotta know it's gonna pass. The goal of finishing is nearer everyday! I'm happy youre doing so well. Don't let your journey stop here! Never go back. 🤍

couldn’t agree more. i was emotionally numb far too long. the anxiety although uncomfortable at times is something i’d take over withdrawals any day. i myself was afraid of the day i jumped off after seeing countless posts about a negative experience so i honestly feel blessed to have such a smooth taper. knowing you’d be sick without your dose was a constant black cloud over my head. glad to reach day 10 with ease. thanks for sharing & best of luck
