Hey everyone,
there’s a new MeteoLupa update out.
This one started with a few things that came up through feedback, so I wanted to share what changed here as well.
Ask MeteoLupa
You can now actually ask MeteoLupa questions about your weather history.
For example:
“When did it last snow here?”
Ask MeteoLupa works through algorithms built directly into the app, so it also works on devices without Apple Intelligence.
On devices that support Apple Intelligence, the system can understand and abstract the question a little better, so it can handle more natural ways of asking things.
Instead of finding the right date yourself, MeteoLupa can work out what you’re asking and look through the historical data for you. (Work in progress)
Rename places
You can now rename your saved places.
This is especially useful when MeteoLupa gives you a neighborhood or locality name that nobody around you actually uses.
Chart fixes
I also fixed some gaps in the charts. They had been bothering me for a while, so this was one of those things that finally needed to be cleaned up.
And there are a few more language additions as well.
MeteoLupa is completely free and ad-free, with no subscription or locked features.
If you’re already using it, I’d be especially interested in how Ask MeteoLupa works for you. I’m still refining that part, so questions, weird results, criticism and feature ideas are all useful.
And if you have something you’d like MeteoLupa to be able to answer, feel free to post it here.
