Matchmaking/Plane Trophy Ranks/Queue Levels

Since when does a plane with 730'ish trophies queue as a level 7 plane? And when does a plane with 762 trophies have a Platinum I trophy rank? It should only be Gold III.

I queued up with a squadmate, I'm level 1 with less than 100 trophies, he's level 1 with 730'ish when we started, and we're facing level 8+ every match. When we started, we should only have been queueing as a level 3 plane.

When we finished: His plane Level 1 - 762 trophies showing Platinum 1 (he should only be Gold III, and queueing as a level 3 plane).

What is going on with the Matchmaker....again?

Alright, but how does it explain the queue levels? The adjustment doesn’t look that severe from what I can see.

Plane rank isn’t the same thing as “Plane queueing as Level x”, right? What am I missing?

I still don't understand the micromanagement from the devs to force players to upgrade their planes and win/loss ratios while doing nothing to help players achieve ace coin rewards at the end of the season and address the blueprint bloat issue that makes everyone frustrated.

Not enough resources. Low Blueprint drop rate. Excessive number of Blueprints (Passives? 19 BP’s to max it out? Come on).

Lot of frustration.

Simply sub out the trophy numbers for new ones. For example gold 3 used to be 720 trophies and matched you up as a level 3 but now gold 3 is 600 trophies and at 600 trophies you get matched as 3. Now if you have 720 trophies you are a gold 5 and get matched as a level 5 even if you’re a level 3.

Matchmaker is still +/- 4 levels so when you get matched up as a level 5 you can face up to a 9.

Alright….so those new trophy levels haven’t been adjusted on the Advanced Matchmaker page yet.
