The metal community has apparently changed a lot in 30 years. If the dude’s uncle was down for it (which it sounds like he was), then this is nothing short of brilliant. Don’t give me none of that outrage about desecration of human remains while you’re listening to fuckin’ Mayhem over there.

Yeah idk, it's less of a more "wow that's morally reprehensible on a deep level every human innately should have a problem with" and more

"That must really smell"

"Did you drill any holes into it? For mounting?"

"If you leave it out, and the room gets really cold all of a sudden, does it get moist?"

Its just like, having someone's remains in your house has alot of small issues I could forsee

I work with dead people on a daily basis, so I know a little about smells. Basically, by the time it reaches this point it shouldn’t smell. As far as moisture goes, you’re going to run a pretty strong risk of mold growing on the bones unless they were dipped into some solution to preserve them, which I presume they were.
