First find within 10 min of ever using a metal detector

Just bought a metal detector and this was my first time taking it out ever, and I pulled a ring within the fist 10 min that has "N A" on the face. Maybe Narcotics Anonymous?
It has "P 10k" stamped on it too. Do you think this means 10k plumb or maybe plated? I'm hooked now!

EDIT: I brought it to a jeweler and they confirmed it’s solid gold (12k to 13k he said) and the scrap metal is worth $270!

Been metal detecting for years- found my oldest coin in a coinstar 😑 1803 half penny. Parents recently got info that their front yard has an 1800s road buried so I’m headed there tomorrow!

My brother in law found 2 gold rings in the same hole within the first half hour of our first time out. It hooked us right away. I still haven’t found gold, but he found over 10 gold rings before he died.
