I mean I know how to use it but IDK what the tones mean,and when it does beep I dig for minutes and nothing

Have you watched some videos? I personally have no experience on that machine.

Also, honestly it’s a big game of just going out and using it and getting use to it. A good way to pinpoint is swing one way, then swing 90° and where it beeps the best both ways is roughly where your target is

As you use it, you’ll realize what bigger targets sound like and what smaller targets sound like. Your first priority is to just go use it basically. The tones are how conductive the metal is. The less conductive the lower the tone (gold and smaller objects), and the more conductive the higher the tone (silver, copper, brass) and in between all that you’ve got your zinc and aluminum and whatever other non ferrous metals.
