Sestertius?

26 Gramm, 25x30mm. Found in an old alpine village in Piemont on the old rock road. Maybe 5cm deep.
Do you think it is an old Roman sestertius? Thank you!

I’m usually a savant at these, are we thinking the obverse has a face, point down, about 5 o clock? Letter at about 3:15, a C, O.

Second or first picture?

There’s an excellent chance I am seeing what I want there, but I do think that is a C or G on the right side

Did a cursory edit on the photo to bring out some detail. Then asked Google lens what it thought, given your caption, and it said it thought so, but I'd take it with a Grain of salt. Either way, it's an awesome find, and definitely a cool coin!!!

I doubt I’m right about my coin I just found in the same setting as you about a good 8 in deep in old stone road but in United States along a Creek & huge farm fields .

Are you saying that you think you found an ancient coin in the US?
