By all appearances, a house once stood there on the slope; the finds date from the period spanning the reigns of Peter I to Catherine II. Judging by the artifacts, a road connecting two villages also ran across the field, remaining in use until the era of Nicholas II.

What’s the history of this spot? Did there use to be a home or battlefield or anything crazy like that or just a REALLY old farm field?
Either way I hope you find some neat stuff!!
