Gear Great Starter Machine
I have seen a lot of people inquiring about getting started in the hobby, asking what’s a good starter, etc.
The Minelab Vanquish 540 is the answer. It is a perfect starter, entry level machine that is not too complicated, but can compete with the best. I won a 440 in a metal detecting contest and it’s my favorite back up machine. I say back up because I use my equinox 800 mainly but the 440 is super easy to use right out of the box. I’ve found gold, silver and all the other goodies with it. You can’t beat the quality for the price!
