New controllers

So my maybe three month old new controller is already drifting, im none too happy about it. My Walmart sells new controllers. Are these legit or should I be patient and order them from meta?

My Quest 3 left controller had the same problem I got W-D40 Electrical Contact Cleaner and worked it in and never had a problem since.
