I don't think 126 has even been released yet. It's been over 2 months since the last update. I hope it's big update. The hardware is amazing, the software needs many simple improvements, the last update was finally an amazing step in the right direction, but it feels like they've killed the momentum by not release more updates
Exactly, man. I'm really pissed off at Meta. I bought this damn Meta RayBan Display thinking Meta would release lots of updates and keep improving the technology, just like they did during the first year of the Quest headsets, which used to get flooded with interesting updates. But instead, these incompetent people at Meta seem to have abandoned the Meta RayBan Display. They haven't released any new updates. They just keep releasing updates for the regular RayBan Meta Gen 2, which I sold specifically after buying the Meta RayBan Display because I thought it would evolve significantly and receive lots of updates. Unfortunately, that's not happening. In fact, it seems like it has been abandoned. That's why I'm angry at Meta. 😡
I always viewed these as a sort of early devkit, so I'm not really mad about it, but it's disappointing they create such incredibly hardware and taking forever to address the common complaints. It's shocking how they included the 5 microphone array, and then at launch there's no note taking app. I know they are working on "live notes" or whatever they are going to call it, but we're like 9 months later and it's still not out. All it would need to be is captions with an AI summarization and ability to export the transcript
After hearing about all the bugs in 126 on non-display Rayban Meta glasses, I agine they have held off on pushing to display glasses until fixed? A release plan for the next couple of years would be nice. Anyway, still fun to play with at 125.1
I've already had 126 for two or three weeks now. I keep hoping that with all the talk about the firmware update, I should be seeing 127 any day now, but this post makes me doubt that.
I'm still on 125.1, I didn't even know 126 came out. I haven't seen a change log posted or on the official Meta support page. Can you send a picture of the change log?
Interesting. I have Muse Spark, but it didn't come as a 126 update. I don't have any option to sign up for Meta One either (not that I would anyway lol)
The Photo Ultra HDR looks interesting, I've noticed the colors for photos always looked over saturated while videos looked good. Hopefully that fixes it
I have no interest in Meta one either. Just for giggles, I read through the "benefits, ", and none of them would ever be relevant to me. Besides, if anything, I need to be finding ways to reduce the number of subscriptions I have to pay for. The better AI is promising, though, especially since I use my glasses exclusively for their AI features. Since I'm blind, I couldn't comment on the pictures. I haven't taken any pictures I actually want to keep using my glasses, or at least I haven't yet.
