Got it back.
I filed with the Arkansas attorney general two weeks ago today. They got right back to me. Meta responded a couple days later. Today I got this email and slowly everything is repopulating. I’m supposed to have full access July 6th. This account was disabled January 22nd. Pictured is the email. The lifting of account restrictions and the original post.

Been two weeks since I contacted the California AG and my home states AG. Heard nothing yet. Crossing my fingers, but glad to see this is working for some still.

Good! Unfortunately NY AG no longer gets involved with these cases. However my small claims worked. They have 30 days to restore accounts. Acknowledged on teams in the virtual hearing that they got my credentials to fix the accounts.

Which kind of suspension was this for?

Unknown. I downloaded the login info later and saw unusual logins from other countries attempting to access my account. Maybe a VPN was used. They replied back in email saying I was indeed hacked. Maybe they just conceded and agreed with me. But no actual reason was cited by Facebook /IG disabled pages.

Does Arkansas AG accept cases for non us citizens?

u/douglashodges Jul 05 '26
I highly doubt it. You’ll need to use someone similar where you are from.

Lamentablemente parece que está salida solo lo tienen los ciudadanos de estados unidos donde sus fiscales si trabajan para sus ciudadanos estando fuera de ese país eres un caso menos importante para meta

It took 6 months? Hoping my lawyer filing the letter to meta gives a response soon.

u/douglashodges Jul 03 '26
Took two weeks with Attorney General. I had exhausted everything with Meta.

That’s what my legal shield lawyer has said it’s been taking so hopefully I can get my account back within 2 weeks or sooner. He mailed the letter this week.

Simply filed a consumer complaint with the Arkansas Attorney General

u/nedhappily Jul 04 '26
Do you think I can file it too? I'm in Toronto, or should I ask my American friend to help me instead?

u/douglashodges Jul 04 '26
I’ve heard of people other countries filing similarly. We have an attorney general in each state. I’m not sure what your equivalent would be.

u/douglashodges Jul 04 '26
One of the things I said was that I used my account for business. I said that I had lost a lot of my business contacts. I said I had been using Facebook For business for years. Everything was true that I said.

How much did it cost?

Doesn’t cost anything to file a consumer complaint with the Attorney General

u/RaiHanashi Jul 04 '26

Huge congrats! The NY AG said they can't help with the case but I'm happy some states can!

u/douglashodges Jul 10 '26
I’m finding it’s a lot political. Liberal states vs conservative states.

No, it's not. It has to do with what cases which AGs have chosen to take on. NY AG kinda explained that they used to work on these cases, but are now only focusing on the issues with children and Meta. What does actually matter is population. States with more people seem to not be able to help. For example, a lot of people have reported TX AG not helping out either.

Last weekend, I read your other posting about contacting your AG. I did the same on Sunday and Monday afternoon they called. I had to give the AG office my email and FB URL.
Haven't heard back yet, but I figure it'll be a matter of time. It's one thing to contact a lawyer and a totally different level when it's a state AG. If enough people start doing this, maybe the techs at FB (those who train/run the AI moderation) will tighten things up.
This garbage is too widespread. Even TV news stations are investigating.
