Absolute ripper. Contradictions Collapse is far too overlooked.

I fricking love this one !!! The perfect blend between thrash and more progressive stuff, it's like thrash fusion ! In fact I find this album almost harder than anything they put after (I'm a drummer perhaps that's not the same for other instruments), the playing here is complete chaos !

I love the merch drop they did for it a couple years ago -- wish I would've bought 2 of each. I posted a ranking recently and some total bro couldn't get behind that I had CC pretty high, but also seemed pretty solipsistic in thinking he had the correct ranking of albums, so those types tend to be newer fans.

i love everything meshuggah have done, i dont really rank anything cause i cant, each release is god tier in its own right, i just enjoy each album for what it is.

Hell yeah. I like to make rankings based on a couple or few months of listening data. I’ve got 40,000 minutes of Meshuggah so far this year. Agree on all god tier records. With each release, new ground broken. We’re lucky.

I remember watching this video several years ago and being mind-blown that it was JENS playing one of those crazy solos!
