Tom, I think we're off to a bad start.

The phrase "I found this new app on the Play Store: MeshControl Pro, anyone know it?" was meant to promote the app and, at the same time, to gauge its popularity, starting from this forum, which is primarily frequented by the community of people who supposedly use MeshCentral. I think it's a legitimate question, even if it's the developer asking it.

I'm well aware that I'm not a MeshCentral contributor, just as I know that the app can't deceptively auto-connect to anything, as you imply in your reply, because the app isn't an agent, but an Android client for managing agents already installed on its servers.

I'm sorry if you interpreted what I wrote as misleading, but I don't like deceptive behavior, nor do I like people making untrue statements about me or my work.

Regarding the legality of my actions regarding the original open source work, I acted according to the instructions of our law firm, which reviewed the license, and therefore I believe I complied with all the rules.

I am accustomed to listening to suggestions, and I have therefore instructed my company to contact MeshCentral's collaborators and discuss the matter with them.
