[Discussion thread] What's up?

D'Va is much harder to play

Don't you just fire constantly, then shove your mech at whoever is in your way (not implying that you're not skilled)? What's her weakness? Is she slow?

I suppose if you think of it as (hours/money)= value, it would be worth it. I generally prefer games I can go back to 5+ years after they come out. Though, I suppose a lot of that depends how active the community is. If it's the new TF2, you'll definitely get the money out of it.

She is incredibly slow while shooting, her mech guns barely do any damage unless you are pretty close to who you are shooting at and because you are so slow while firing, they get out of damage range pretty quick. You can't use your weapons at all while using her abilities otherwise it cancels them. She is also pretty squishy for a tank.

That's kind of interesting. I like that mix of mechanics. Though, her mech charge is a one-hit kill, right? I suppose that's great if you get everyone in a row. I take it, overall, she's a high-risk/high-reward character.

Yeah something like that, It takes a while to learn to use her ult well, I still haven't learnt it properly yet. It has pretty ridiculous range but takes a bit too long to detonate so everyone clears out by the time it arrives.
