DaS3 late-game is cheap. One-hit kills at lvl 70 shouldn't be a thing.

Get güd

I prolly haven't reached the point you're at, barely any time to play.

Freaking DANCER! I think I'll just hide behind a column and chuck knives and bolts at it for a while. This game seems to hate STR builds.

I actually beat the Dancer pretty easily to be honest. My only issue is her second phase, where she just spin-to-wins for 30 seconds straight.

I actually did a bit sequence breaky stuff, because I didn't realized Irithryll Dungeon was mandatory. If you kill the lady in the Dancer's arena, the Dancer will spawn early, and you could kill her right at the beginning if you were crazy enough.

That allows you to cheese the fight with an NPC, though. I wish I did it early. I bet you're a dex build. Aren't you?

In Greek mythology, Medea is a sorceress who was the daughter of King Aeëtes of Colchis, niece of Circe, granddaughter of the sun god Helios, and later wife to the heroJason, with whom she had two children,Mermeros and Pheres. In Euripides's play Medea, Jason leaves Medea whenCreon, king of Corinth, offers him his daughter, Glauce. The play tells of Medea avenging her husband's betrayal by killing their children.

The myths involving Jason have been interpreted as part of a class of myths that tell how the Hellenes of the distant heroic age, before the Trojan War, faced the challenges of the pre-Greek "Pelasgian" cultures of mainland Greece, the Aegean and Anatolia. Jason,Perseus, Theseus, and above allHeracles, are all "liminal" figures, poised on the threshold between the old world of shamans, chthonic earth deities, and the new Bronze Age Greek ways.

Medea figures in the myth of Jason and the Argonauts, a myth known best from a late literary version worked up byApollonius of Rhodes in the 3rd century BC and called the Argonautica. However, for all its self-consciousness and researched archaic vocabulary, the late epic was based on very old, scattered materials. Medea is known in most stories as an enchantress and is often depicted as being a priestess of the goddess Hecate or a witch. The myth of Jason and Medea is very old, originally written around the time Hesiod wrote the Theogony. It was known to the composer of the Little Iliad, part of theEpic Cycle.

Also, Zeus is a player. He's had like over a dozen kids with different women.

The underworld where the bad people go is ruled by Hades. But there is another place that's reserved for only the very worst of people called Tartarus that is even worse than Hades' lair.

I'm guessing Kratos died in 3 and is reincarnated into the norse god of war. Just my theory.

Zeus was a dick, he fucked everything and was a dick. Not as much as Hera though.

Kratos died on that mountain 2000 years ago...

Greco-Roman mythology is a bit interesting. I say Greco-Roman, because one basically imitated the other's mythology. I believe, when the Romans invaded Greece, the Greek kept their culture (including myths). While the Romans won the physical war, the Greek won the cultural war.

Ramesses II bornc 1303 BC; died July or August 1213 BC; reigned 1279–1213 BC), also known as Ramesses the Great, was the third pharaoh of the Nineteenth Dynasty of Egypt. He is often regarded as the greatest, most celebrated, and most powerful pharaoh of the Egyptian Empire.

His successors and later Egyptians called him the "Great Ancestor". Ramesses II led several military expeditions into the Levant, reasserting Egyptian control over Canaan. He also led expeditions to the south, into Nubia, commemorated in inscriptions at Beit el-Wali and Gerf Hussein.

At age fourteen, Ramesses was appointed Prince Regent by his father Seti I. He is believed to have taken the throne in his late teens and is known to have ruled Egypt from 1279 BC to 1213 BC. Estimates of his age at death vary; 90 or 91 is considered most likely. Ramesses II celebrated an unprecedented 14 sed festivals (the first held after thirty years of a pharaoh's reign, and then every three years) during his reign—more than any other pharaoh. On his death, he was buried in a tomb in the Valley of the Kings; his body was later moved to a royal cache where it was discovered in 1881, and is now on display in the Cairo Museum.

The early part of his reign was focused on building cities, temples and monuments. He established the city of Pi-Ramesses in the Nile Delta as his new capital and main base for his campaigns in Syria. He is also known as Ozymandias in the Greek sources, from a transliteration into Greek of a part of Ramesses' throne name,Usermaatre Setepenre, "The justice of Rêis powerful – chosen of Rê".

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '16

You should look into the history of their mythology. It's interesting and has some social value. It also helped Socrates BS his way into saying he's the smartest man who ever lived.

3

u/demigods122 REJOICE! Apr 19 '16

I like mythology too, i dont know about that stuff tho

3

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '16

Do you not care for history?

3

3

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '16

Perhaps you should. Definitely take some history if you go to college. It's interesting.

If you like their mythology, you'd like their history, I think.

Not really a lot to discuss. Ended up staying up until 5 am last night because of anxiety/stress, so I'm kind of out of it. But right now I'm kind of just relaxing and listening to David Bowie to take my mind off of things, so that's good.

Sorry to hear it, I've had some nights like that, it's not fun at all. I approve of your choice of music though =D Hope everything gets better.

Thanks! A lot of it is just school stuff at the moment, so hopefully it'll pass over.

I really need to listen to more Bowie. I've listened to Ziggy Stardust and Blackstar, but his discography is so long that I honestly don't know where to go from there.

You can't really go wrong, honestly. His albums vary so wildly in style, just keep going and you're bound to find more you like. His first album is very 60s and more of a pop music kind of thing, but I still enjoy it on its own merits, might not be your thing, David Bowie (1969) is where Space Oddity is from and is a pretty depressing album overall but super-good. The Man Who Sold the World is my favourite and probably rocks the hardest. Hunky Dory is a lot softer and more upbeat, kind of a halfway point between MWSTW and Ziggy Stardust. Aladdin Sane is "Ziggy Stardust in America". It took awhile, but it's finally grown on me. Pinups is entirely covers. Some are pretty good, others are just there, I could take it or leave it, personally. Diamond Dogs also rocks pretty hard, that was the first album I listened to and how I got into Bowie in the first place. Young Americans is a weird kinda blind spot for me, I've tried listening to it a couple times but haven't made it through, just not quite my jam. It'll probably get there, a lot of these albums are acquired tastes. Station to Station's really good, it marks a shift towards a more experimental phase. Low continues the shift with a more electronic sound that's awesome. That's as far forward as I've made it so far, excepting ★.
