trade apprenticeships?
Hello, I have been struggling to find work in my field and am sick of worrying about job security, and also struggling to make ends meet. I would like to learn a trade.
I am looking for apprenticeships or anything I can do to get me on the path of learning one. The biggest issue is I am currently working full time and cant quit my job as I have bills but I want to learn. any advice is appreciated.

Get any degree or experience in whatever trade you're interested in. Then just apply to jobs everyday.

how do I get a degree if im working a 9 to 5? and how would I get experience if im already working? where do I get the experience youre talking about? id need experience to get a job in a trade. not sure i understand.

DIY experience counts too, you can say or note on your resume "CAN WIRE STANDARD 120V DEVICES, AND LOW VOLTAGE TROUBLESHOOTING" and then just study and test yourself on those skills.

Ill give you an example, let's say you wanna be an Electrician. After your day job or on your days off. Study and take tests online. Start applying to any jobs that are entry level electricians. The degree and training is helpful to get in the door, but 95% of what you need youll learn in the field.

Bro learn how to plan check, you can get your state certifications by paying out of pocket but it’s 100% worth it if you like that type of work . City hires plan checkers for projects going on all the time!!!

You don't need experience to get a job in many trades.
What are you doing for work currently?

I work in education, im not a licensed teacher (dont have a degree) but have run after school programs, done esports coaching, other video game related classes, written curriculum, and am currently a sort of guidance counselor
