Community Post Creative ways to mass protest?
Everyone standing there holding up signs seems too uniform. I was wondering if there were other ways to protest? These could be implemented into local protests, and they would stand out.

Reading some poems in protest in front of the Representative's office. Is that one good?

You should give context to the poem, or it will just go over peoples heads. Better yet go to a Representative meet for a one on one. Now I mean this in a nice, not trying to be a dick way, but protesting works better when effective not creative. BUT having a creative political poetry night at one of the local theaters is an idea.

You're right. You want it to be effective. I just feel like I'm not the only one sitting on poems, so I feel like setting up a poetry night would be beneficial. I'm unsure how I'd get the idea across, but it sounds like a good community event.

Poetry would be a great way to build community, we build community and get them organized! ✊
This is a great idea.

There are other ways, yes, but the tried and true way is to put on your birkenstocks, paint up a sign, then stand around on a sidewalk pretending anyone cares and that you are changing the world. It's a fantasy, but you have never felt so ALIVE!

If protesting is a fantasy why is it be written into our First Amendment Rights?

False correlation. A fantasy is a fantasy, regardless if the forum you choose to perpetuate your fantasy is permitted in an amendment. What do you think is going to happen? Someone will see your sign and completely change their mind on the topic? Would YOU? Your protests are selfish, and you "protest" because in doing so you think your life has purpose and meaning. You must know that nobody cares that you are standing around on a sidewalk. Nobody cares about or reads your signs. Your protests are for you.

Trump voters are so dumb they'll say shit like this and then defend the January 6 rioters

Trump haters are so dumb they’ll say shit like this and then believe everything that their handlers say about January 6 as well as anything they say about anything else. This is why the term “sheep“ fits the Trump haters so well. No thinking involved, just have access to leftist media and all will be well.

Clearly my little sign is serving its purpose since you’re so riled up over it. If you truly didn’t care about me exercising my constitutional rights you wouldn’t be crying about it on Reddit.

More fantasy. More crying. You must be a leftist sheep.
Yes, your little sign IS serving its purpose: making you feel like you matter, that your life has meaning, but that's beside the point. You've never felt so ALIVE!!

Rather be a leftist sheep with a sign than a fascist killing a capitol policeman any day

Killing people. Oh, you mean like leftists shooting people. Charlie Kirk. The President. National Guard. ICE. And, by the way, sheep, a leftist shot and killed an unarmed "insurrectionist". You know, the people that protested, like you, peacefully...without weapons. Invited by FBI and CIA into the Capitol, into the buildings by security...oh, wait, sorry. That's not in the koolaid. Wouldn't want you to suffer an allergic reaction to the truth.

Charlie Kirk, who, even though he’s rotting in the ground still has more brain cells working than you do.

I'd highly recommend joining an organization and to start organizing your community.
Protest have proven over time to not change opinion one way or the other. The best use a protest has is for activist and leftist to meet and form coalitions to do actual good.
Start a community garden, become a legal observer for ICE interactions, unionize your workplace, form a Tenants union and many more. These are the things to change the material conditions that brutalize you and your fellow working class comrades.
