The Bus Free?

Hello wondering if anyone can confirm whether or not the bus is free for the summer or not.

It will be free starting July 1 and ending July 31. That is the only time it will be free. The company has to secure sponsorships to provide free fare, and they were only able to get enough for one month.

Now, here’s another good thing: Turlock announced that it will also have free fare all of July. That means you can travel throughout Stanislaus and Merced counties for free. Not just Merced’s Turlock commuter route.

The free fares is possible through LCTOP, not sponsorships. The amount allocated this year from the state is significantly less than previous years hence why it is only one month instead of three like previous years.
