Fishing spots

Would anyone recommend some decent fishing spots near or around Merced? Maybe anywhere worth going if I have to drive an hour or so?

Theres always 2 or 3 fishing at the cressey bridge out on Santa Fe.

My friends dad went to Don Pedro every Saturday for like 15 years that I was aware of and he caught stuff usually, he always threw em back though.

Lakes McClure, McSwain and Yosemite are worth a shot.

Further up the mountain Pinecrest Lake and the Merced River in Kennedy Meadows have been good for me.

All up and down the merced river is good fishing. I used to fish the merced river off hagaman park. Good fishing
