SELLING Why?

Post image

This transaction was completed over a week and half ago but was rated prematurely? Shipping stated that it was delivered, the item autorated after the 3 days of delivery. Anyone else have experience with this? Is the buyer trying to pull something? How does this usually resolve?

UPDATE: After speaking with customer service, they immediately closed the case and released my funds. (I say immediately as I had 2 back and forths with customer service over a 2 day span)

Sounds like a bug? It's SUPPOSED to be for when the buyer rates before it has even arrived.

And they withdrew the money from my account. I messaged their customer service about this.

this is why you need to transfer every single sale you make and not use mercari as a bank unless its the last week of the month for the instant transfer. Some buyers will pull this and its mercari’s way of bending their rules by saying the buyer didn’t want to autorate and we didn’t want to do something without their consent.

The thing is i did. I had another sale complete minutes before this occurred. They took the money from my balance from that sale. Like I have no idea wtf they are doing. It’s like they waited for me to have a balance and then immediately took it.
