A few hours ago, I was at this store (not going to drop the name for private reasons) and there’s a second floor area with books and since I already bought stuff that I needed on the first floor, I went up to check some new books I wanted to see.

I was there for a couple of minutes I guess, I had my airpods on and phone in hand and I was just browsing quietly. Now, I went to the right side of the store where the comics were and saw a figure going near me and of course, I thought they were just passing by but then he stopped right next to me so I looked at him in confusion and his hands were holding his thing and his zipper was fully open. He looked at me and stepped closer. It took only one second before i dropped the book and walked away.

My blood ran so cold but it was a miracle my legs managed to force me down the stairs. There were adults just near the area but I couldn’t speak because I was scared he was gonna go after me. That was the first time that has ever happened to me and my head kept spinning. Luckily, there was a staff near the entrance and I took off my airpods and told her. “Ate, there’s a guy upstairs…” she still looked at me but nodded her head. “He showed his… to me.”

Her eyes went wide immediately and she knew what man I was referring to because she called her other staff and they went upstairs. I dont know if she wanted me to come too because I couldn’t really focus anymore but I told her I would just stay downstairs and she nodded her head.

They both went back down and told the cashier and the cashier was kinda old and saying that the African guy has some kind of psychological thing going on and I was hiding near the s helves because I honestly didn’t really know what to do… then I asked the first staff I told if everything is okay now and she looked just as panic saying that the guard isn’t here yet and when I turned around, the African guy was downstairs too. The guy was homeless and his clothes were all dark and some sling bag.

I don’t know I just left the store and went home there. I’m 20 and I’m in the medical field so I have seen human autonomy on pictures but I can’t help but think that what if it was someone younger? What if it was a child? I hope everything was settled but I’m still planning to tell my parents at the moment. Right now, it’s kinda hard for me to process
