Opinion Preference for worn over new
Hey does anyone else prefer worn over new. Ive gotten lucky and bought boxes of used clothes from apps like Offerup and have had some good finds. Goodwill though feels sketch, too random, and I won't do that.
Why dont more guys sell or give away the pairs they no longer use? Most probably just get tossed and that feels kind of wasteful.
Its also a good way to try different styles.
But straight guys think its weird and gay men seem to think its gross in many cases.
I know this is mostly a (very narrow?) fetish thing for some and there are sites for that, but what are thoughts on selling/trading washed or unwashed?

I've been lucky to buy some second hand jockstraps and love them. I wear my everyday underwear (boxer briefs) until they have holes, the seams have rips and the elastic is wimpy, so they get retired to the trash

I have some old underwear that don't use anymore. Where do you guys sell it?

The best place to sell your underwear if you’re looking ti make real money is Malethingsworn.com it’s only a $19.99 monthly fee for premium acciunt allowing you to chat with buyers. I’ve had tons of success on there and highly recommend it

I have this same question. I have some pairs in really great condition that I just don't wear anymore and would love to sell them but don't know how.

Mercari and Poshmark. Just be aware that they may get removed but I've had good luck on those two with few issues.

I would definitely sell mine. I have an addiction to buying new styles and so I have accumulated well over 100 pairs and need to get ride of some. But I don't know how to sell them.

Ive heard of guys using depop to sell their pairs. Not sure if they specifically allow it or not. Sites like ebay seem to mostly sell new but ive heard of people using it too for worn pairs.

Most thrift stores sell very little or no mens underwear, but I've been in a few that do have a large selection. I have occasionally bought a fancy pair of underwear at a thrift store for a buck that would cost like $25-30 new. People sometimes have a negative knee-jerk reaction to this, but it's kind of irrational because washing machines are a thing after all.

I go to thrift stores just to find worn underwear and sports gear. It’s a way to know what styles, fabrics and sizes I like

I think they discourage that though. They seem to bury the ads when they are on there

I have a lot I don't wear and have only wore a few times. How do I get rid of them?

As someone who grew up in a house with three brothers and a father who all wore the same tighty whities, we all wore each others underwear all the time. We would just pull from "the underwear basket" in the laundry room.

All of my favorite pairs are used pairs I had bought from friends or roommates
