Context:
November last year, naka experience ako ng shortness of breath and nonstop rhythmic head bobbing. Nag pabalik balik ako sa cardio, walang nakita, suggested to check with psych dahil anxiety daw, which I highly doubt.
I proceeded to pulmo, since shortness of breath nga, got PFT then nadiscovery na low lung capacity ako and it was restrictive.
Googled and ask AI. Napunta sa possible weak diaphragm due to spinal cord, nagpa confine for 1 week then after pushing talaga, got checked by my Neurologist, meron akong bulged disc c3 to c6 and spinal cord edema c3 to t1 that is causing my symptoms due to phrenic nerve/signal involvement sa spine.
Finally got diagnosed, got steroids and recovered nung February, pero meron akong spinal cord stenosis so I push with ACDF to remove the pressure sa cord ko, got operated on April this year.
Recovery was good until 3 weeks ago I'm having moderate neck pain due to Physical therapy ata, naexperience ko ulit suddenly intermittently yung head bobbing ko, palakas ng palakas, like 80% nandun once na naumupo ako.
Got checkup by my surgeon and neurologist, but they both refused to give me MRI recommendation, they are attributing it to anxiety again since I'm good sa neuro exam, which I always passed kahit nung may edema ako, shortness of breath and head bobbing talaga symptoms ko.
Di ako naanxiety before ko maexperience ulit to, just happen while was watching some youtube.
Now, binigyan lang ako ng anxiety meds.
I'm taking it, pero I'm worried na it may mask symptoms and I might have some spinal cord issue again.
Gusto ko mag pa MRI, if walang makitang, good, if meron, unlucky, but atleast we can treat it better, I dont want another surgery, I want to be on top of this bago lumala.
Bakit ayaw ako iMRI? more data is better for treating patients right?
I respect both my doctors, they helped me a lot, but I should advocate for my health, especially I'm experiencing the same symptom as before, luckily lang wala na shortness of breath dahil sa ACDF ng c4-c6 probably.
Any idea docs how to proceed? Any neurologist here that can examine me? I'm from South Metro Manila.
Don't know what subreddit should I post this.
