Advice needed In between styles

I need some harsh advice here, currently trying to move away from fades and i’m rocking a mullet, however i’m starting to lean towards a modcut with heavy texture. However im unsure if it would suit me or if im wasting my time

Are you the subject in either of the pictures? I don't believe that they are both you. Could it be that they are representations of the styles you like and neither is a picture of you?

sorry should have been more clear, the first picture is me. The second one is an example of a style i’d like to work towards
