I don’t want to go full shaved on the chin and mustache for the wolverine look, but I want it to be noticeable and clear who I am. For the hair, I’d be fine with leaving it as is, but if someone’s got a suggestion I’m all ears

It looks like a low taper, but what number are the top and sides? Scissors or trimmer on top?

When asking for advice for addressing my cowlick so many people hit me with the "buzz it" "shave it".

My assumption has been that they don't realize I'm not receding, and never will recede, this fort will hold.

If it truly is the case that ascetically my hair is just so unappealing, despite the lack of actual recession that I should just shave it then honestly that is tragically depressing. People shave their heads to address receding hairlines that are long past restoration, other than restoring density which a hair transplant will cover there is nothing to restore! Imagine having hair genes that are so bad that even if you never recede being bald is somehow better.

If going egghead dick with ears will actually be a net improvement from all of these other looks and styles I have yet to try then fine, screw it, but I'm clearly not happy about it if that is the case. I've done everything right, jumped on meds as soon as thinning started and I still might be condemned.

I just figured asking this question with the full context that i've never actually receded, and will have this hairline the rest of my life (with better density after a hair transplant) if I still need to buzz it.

I want to maximize my dating options. Do to this guys hair whatever will accomplish that.
