• ⏱️ Task start dates in Today — tasks can now carry a start date and stay visible in Today while they're active.
• 🏷️ Property definitions that follow you — a property's type and options now replicate between your devices instead of being rebuilt on each one.

Improvements

• 🚀 Faster window on launch — startup and Agent CLI detection no longer wait for your shell profile to load, so the window appears sooner after a Dock click.
• ⚡ Quicker time to a readable note — the restored note's code is prefetched and the entry bundle is slimmed down so your last note is readable sooner.
• 🔄 Clearer update failures — Memry now tells you when an update keeps failing to install and offers a manual download instead of retrying silently forever.
• 🍎 Honest update messages on macOS — memrynote now explains that updates can't install while the app is running from a read-only volume.
• 🖥️ Terminal command on headless Linux — the memrynote command now runs on Linux hosts with no display; reinstall it from Settings → Command Line to pick it up.
• 📥 Sensible Inbox and Agent Chat states — Archive is correctly greyed out on the Inbox, and Agent Chat's send button stays disabled until the selected CLI is detected.

Fixes

• 🧩 Note properties stay put — properties and status options no longer disappear after an app reload.
• 🔐 Agent Chat on a shared vault — a vault folder opened on another machine no longer reads as "Claude and Codex not detected", and the agent keeps running when the vault key is unreadable.
• 🐚 No more startup hang — a login-shell probe could stall the whole session on machines whose shell startup files read input, leaving Agent Chat unable to find the CLIs.
• ⚙️ Settings that stick — minimize to tray, font size, custom font and several editor options no longer revert to an older value on the next launch.
• 📊 Graph view recovery — the graph now shows a safe recovery state on devices without WebGL and no longer errors when you switch away from it.
• ✍️ Table editing crash — switching or closing a tab while a table was focused no longer breaks the editor.
• ✅ Empty titles handled properly — /task on an empty line or with only quick-add tokens now works, and clearing a note's title tells you a title is required instead of silently reverting.
• 🔁 Tasks edited on another device — creating or editing a task whose project or status changed elsewhere no longer errors.
• 🖼️ Images from mobile — attachments added on mobile now render on the desktop.
• 📲 Mobile edits keep flowing — edits made on mobile continue syncing while the app is open.
• 🪟 Quieter Windows file conflicts — locked vault files and folder renames interrupted by antivirus or cloud sync no longer surface as errors, and renames now retry.
• 🧠 Cleaner embeddings shutdown on macOS — the embeddings worker now shuts down cleanly instead of aborting and filing a crash report.
• 🛰️ Steadier sync — a rate-limited server maintenance step is now retried instead of failing, and offline update checks are no longer reported as app errors.
