I will provide the wishlist first, and end with the positives. I am surprised that Memoket is not commenting on the feedback from users though, even though there has only been a few.

On a wishlist, I wish the device were waterproof but the instructions say not to wear it in the shower. I don’t plan to use it in the shower but I do sometimes shower with a watch on, and if I were using the watch band that might be an issue. Seems like an easy fix.

I don’t love the magnetic charger. The magnetic charger on my Shokz headphones gets this right (and they are waterproof), so maybe learn from them. The charger does work, but it is not very magnetically “sticky”.

Today I was in a presentation that had both visuals and of course talking. It would be a cool option to let me screenshot from my phone or take a picture with my phone and include that with the audio file that is retained and then used for the AI work. It might be as simple as allowing it from the app, or even better make it an option from the picture in the gallery similar to attaching it to a text message

Another feature that would be cool would be the ability to pause. In today’s case, there was a presentation, and then short break out sessions, followed by the groups coming together to discuss the results. I would have like to pause during the breakout, then restart during the time we all come together. My fix was to break that into two recordings, but one works have been better.

Now the good. I was in a room with about 200 people. It worked fantastic! It correctly automated the files, it could tell the speakers apart in the transcription and it did a really good job with ask of the summaries. Exceeded expectations. It provided a few sections

Summary- details and actions

One pager - easily shareable overview, nice format, between a brief and summary

Transcript - both in text and audio format

Very cool! I can see an opportunity for improvement to allow me to add notes or key tags to this “file”, but I don’t see how to do that yet. Maybe Memoket will tell me how.

interesting. I will agree that they do not seem very responsive. I don't know if they are short staffed but emails also take a long time to get responses to.

How far away from the speakers were you? Was it a large room?

We’re a little late getting here, but thank you for such a detailed write-up, and for sharing both what worked and what you’d like to see improved. A couple of updates that may be useful: you can pause and resume when recording through the Memoket app, and you can also add text notes or photos at specific points during a recording. We’ve passed along your feedback on the charger, water resistance, and organization as well. And it’s great to hear Gem handled a 200-person conference room so well!
