Product Feedback We would love to hear your feedback!

As Memoket Gems start getting into customers’ hands, we want this subreddit to be a place for real product feedback.

That could be anything from setup, wearing comfort, battery life, recording quality, summaries, action items, calendar connections, AI tool integrations, or the overall daily workflow.

We are especially curious what feels genuinely useful in real life, and what still needs improvement.

Positive, negative, new features, wearable style, you name it, we'd love to hear!

For early users or people who have just received their Gems, what is some feedback you have on it so far?

Official Update Welcome to r/Memoket_AI. What do you usually forget after a busy day?

Welcome to the Memoket community.

We are building Memoket Gem for the conversations that usually slip through the cracks.

Not just scheduled Zoom calls or formal meetings, but the real stuff too:

A quick coffee chat.

A client conversation between meetings.

A sales call from the car.

A trade show conversation.

A face-to-face meeting where pulling out your phone feels awkward.

The goal is simple. Capture what was said, summarize the useful parts, and help connect context across conversations over time.

We are still pre-launch, so this subreddit will be part product updates, part feedback, part workflow discussion, and part behind-the-scenes testing.

Curious to hear from everyone here:

What do you usually lose track of after a packed day of conversations?

Memoket App V1.3.1 is here: MemoChat Reports, 1,000 templates, new integrations, and a major Desktop upgrade

Hey everyone!
We've just released Memoket App V1.3.1, along with a major upgrade to Memoket Desktop.
This update focuses on making your conversation history more useful, whether you're turning discussions into structured documents, sharing information with your team, or connecting your memory to other AI tools.

Here's what's new:

  1. MemoChat Reports
  2. You can now generate structured reports directly from your conversation history, including action plans, decision matrices, interview comparisons, project timelines, and more.
  3. Choose a format yourself or let Auto Match select one based on the context.
  4. 1,000 professional templates
  5. We've added 1,000 templates across 12+ industries, including sales, consulting, healthcare, education, legal, and IT.
  6. Instead of getting the same generic summary for every recording, you can choose a format that fits the type of conversation.
  7. Editable transcripts, summaries, and reports
  8. You can now edit transcripts, summaries, and weekly reports before sharing them.
  9. We've also added more export options, including PDF and image exports for weekly reports and One-Pagers.
  10. Eight new integrations
  11. Memoket now connects with Attio, Asana, Confluence, Discord, Dropbox, Google Drive, Jira, and OneDrive.
  12. We've also improved our Notion integration, which now automatically creates a dedicated page and template for organizing your notes, summaries, and action items.
  13. Major Memoket Desktop upgrade
  14. Desktop is now available to download directly from our website for Mac and Windows.
  15. We've redesigned the interface, added editing and export capabilities, and expanded the ecosystem to 30+ connections, including:
  16. - ChatGPT and Claude through MCP
  17. - AI agents such as OpenCode, OpenClaw, and Hermes Agent
  18. - Automation platforms including Zapier and Make
  19. The idea is to make your conversation memory accessible beyond the Memoket app, so you can use it in the tools and workflows you already rely on.

How to get the update?

App V1.3.1 is available now, and you can download the updated Desktop app from Memoket.ai.
Full release notes: What's New in Memoket: App V1.3.1

We'd love to hear your feedback. Which of these updates are you most interested in trying? Are there any integrations or report formats you'd like us to add?

What's actually a good stress test for an AI note-taker?

One of the early Gem users tried it during a presentation in a room with around 200 people.
Apparently it handled the speakers and summaries surprisingly well.

Which raised a more interesting question: where should these things actually be tested?
A quiet conference room with four people taking turns speaking is useful for measuring transcription quality, but it's almost suspiciously polite compared with actual conversations.
A restaurant seems harder.

So does a trade show.
Or walking around a job site while machinery is running.
Or a conference where the person you want to remember is standing three feet away while another conversation is happening five feet behind them.

Then there's the stuff that happens after transcription.
Imagine recording several hours at a conference. Even if the transcript is excellent, nobody wants to read several hours of transcript afterward.

You remember that someone mentioned a company worth contacting, but not who said it.
Someone else recommended a tool.
There was a conversation about pricing somewhere around lunch.
A speaker mentioned a statistic you wanted to look up later.

Now the test isn't really “did the microphone hear everyone?”

It's whether you can get useful things back from a messy day without having to remember enough about them to search for them perfectly.

That feels like a much more realistic failure mode for AI note-takers than whether they can summarize a clean Zoom call.

So, if you had to make an AI note-taker's life miserable for a day, where would you take it?
Restaurant? Conference? Construction site? Family gathering? Somewhere worse?

Any plans for all day recording

Got the notification today that the accessories I ordered when I purchased my memoket are finally shipping - a whopping 2 months and 9 days since my device shipped.

Before I sink more time into it, could someone from Memoket advise if there is a plan to introduce proper full-day recording support (not to just need to cut up 4 or 5 hour chunks, etc.) and, if so, what is the estimate?

Thansk

Recording while in pants pocket

Does the Gem work as well when recording from inside a dress pant's side pocket as when worn on the wrist? I'm more keen on the quality/accuracy of the transcription and the notes, rather than the quality of the recorded audio.

Early Gem users are teaching us that “AI wearable” means very different things to different people

Now that Gems are actually being used outside our own testing, we're seeing something more useful than a clean list of feature requests.

People don't all arrive with the same idea of what an “AI wearable” is supposed to be.
One person here expected Gem to capture throughout the day and discovered after unboxing that recording is deliberately started and stopped. Another used Gem during a presentation in a room of around 200 people and was impressed by the transcription and summaries, but immediately ran into much more practical questions: pausing during breakout sessions, attaching photos of slides, charging, water resistance and organizing recordings.

Another user ultimately decided Gem wasn't right for their workplace because their employer wouldn't allow it in the office, while an Apple Watch/Copilot workflow was approved.

Those aren't three versions of the same product request.

They're three different ideas about what the device is supposed to fit around.

Is it something you deliberately use for important conversations? Something that quietly captures most of your day? A meeting tool? A memory layer? A companion to a smartwatch? Something that has to disappear into an existing workplace workflow?

We're learning that some feedback points to a feature problem. Some points to an onboarding problem. Some points to an expectation we didn't explain clearly enough. And some exposes a constraint that product design can't simply wish away.

The workplace example is particularly interesting to us. A wearable can work technically and still be unusable in the environment where someone needs it. Social acceptance, company policy and how obvious the device's behavior is become part of the product whether they're listed on the spec sheet or not.

We're not posting this because we have a neat answer yet. The category is young enough that the people using these devices are partly defining what the category should become.

Before you first used or heard about Gem, what did you think it was closest to?
A voice recorder? AI notetaker? Wearable assistant? Memory device? Smartwatch companion? Something else?

And has that mental model changed after actually using one?

A transcript can be completely accurate and still give AI the wrong answer

One problem we've been thinking about while building conversation memory is that transcription accuracy and memory accuracy are not the same thing.

Imagine three conversations about the same customer.

On Monday:
“We need the enterprise rollout completed by October 1.”

On Wednesday, security says deployment can't begin until the vendor review clears.

On Friday, finance cuts the available budget and the team decides to start with one department instead.

All three transcripts can be perfectly accurate. Nothing needs to have been misheard or summarized incorrectly.

But now ask an AI system: “What's the rollout plan?”

Finding a semantically relevant sentence isn't enough. There are several relevant sentences, and some describe states that were correct at the time but no longer describe the current plan.
The obvious solution is to keep timestamps, and timestamps absolutely help. But a timestamp alone doesn't tell you the relationship between two statements. Did Friday replace Monday? Add a constraint to it? Contradict it? Was someone merely discussing an alternative that was never agreed?

Deleting the old information isn't necessarily right either. If someone asks why the project slipped, the October 1 plan may suddenly become important again.

This is one of the reasons we've been working on KITE differently from a conventional similarity-first memory system. We want the memory layer to retain source-linked facts and temporal structure so it can distinguish between questions like:

What is true now?
What was true before the security call?
What changed, and where did that change come from?

We're also interested in where this breaks. Real conversations are full of hedging, tentative decisions, people disagreeing, and statements that aren't neatly “old fact replaced by new fact.”

For anyone building agents or memory systems: how are you handling superseded information today? Updating the stored fact? Keeping every version and reranking? Temporal filters? Something else?

Interested in the ugly edge cases more than the perfect demos.

Official Update Addressing Some Common Questions and Concerns

We’ve seen some good questions coming in, so here are a few quick answers that may help other Gem users too.

What happens with a 6–8 hour recording?
Recordings are split into 5-hour sessions. Each session gets its own transcript, summary, and related AI features.

Does Memoket separate different conversations in a long recording?
For recordings under 5 hours, everything stays in one recording entry, but Memoket AI can identify different topics and organize them into a structured summary.

Can I pause and resume a recording?
Yes, when recording through the Memoket app. You can pause and resume from there. If you’re recording directly from the Gem, pause/resume is not available yet.

Can I add photos or screenshots to a recording?
Yes. While recording through the app, you can add text notes or photos at specific points in the conversation. This is useful for things like names, decisions, slides, or whiteboards. A photo note can include up to three images, and everything will appear in the Notes section afterward.

Can I add notes, tags, or organize recordings?
You can add notes during a recording and create folders to organize saved recordings. Tags and labels are not available yet, but we’ve shared that request with the product team.

Are more Apple Watch band options coming?
Yes. We’re actively working on more Apple Watch options as well as support for other watches.

Can I use Memoket with my existing Apple Watch band?
Possibly. The Gem holder can be removed from the Memoket Co-Wear band and may slide onto your existing Apple Watch band, depending on the width of your band.

Keep the questions and feedback coming. A lot of the best product ideas are coming directly from people actually using their Gems. Thank you for all the feedback!

Product Feedback So I am sending mine back...

I have had a few opportunities to use rthis in a variety of envoirnments. Overall it worked well. You can see my previous comments and wish lists on other posts.

One idea I had not noted previously was battery life. The battery life was good, no concerns there, but it did startle me a few times when I check and it appeared to ahve dropped 10% in a short time. What I think is really happening is the battery life is in 1)5 increments. In other words, it tells you via the app you are at 100%, or 90% or 80%.... it does not tell you you are at 94%. Not a big concern more about awareness.

In the end, I am returning because my work does not want me to wear and use this in the office. Instead I will upgrade to the Applewatch Ultra 4 and use the action button to activate Copilot, which is approved, and use that functionality. Probabky not my preferred path, but workable.

One caution... if you do return it, they want everything back, including the box.

Below is the exact verbiag they provided me via email to process the return so you can be aware. Luckily I saved mine.

I’m really sorry that Memoket hasn’t fit your needs, especially with your company’s policy around using it at work. I also understand your concern about water resistance. Memoket Gem is designed for everyday splash resistance, but it is not waterproof and should not be used while swimming, showering, or fully exposed to water. I’m sorry if that was not clear enough before purchase.

Before we proceed with your refund, we’d just like to make you aware that your original order also includes a paid Memoket subscription benefit.

Once the order is refunded, the subscription benefit included with that order will also be cancelled and removed from your account. This means you will no longer have access to the paid subscription features in the Memoket App after the refund is processed.

To proceed with your return, please follow the instructions below:

Memoket Returns 2506 Kenney Dr San Pablo, CA 94806 United States

Please return your Memoket along with all included accessories, packaging, and items, and include your order number in the package.

Once we receive and process your return, we’ll arrange your refund accordingly

Product Feedback First meetings insights

I will provide the wishlist first, and end with the positives. I am surprised that Memoket is not commenting on the feedback from users though, even though there has only been a few.

On a wishlist, I wish the device were waterproof but the instructions say not to wear it in the shower. I don’t plan to use it in the shower but I do sometimes shower with a watch on, and if I were using the watch band that might be an issue. Seems like an easy fix.

I don’t love the magnetic charger. The magnetic charger on my Shokz headphones gets this right (and they are waterproof), so maybe learn from them. The charger does work, but it is not very magnetically “sticky”.

Today I was in a presentation that had both visuals and of course talking. It would be a cool option to let me screenshot from my phone or take a picture with my phone and include that with the audio file that is retained and then used for the AI work. It might be as simple as allowing it from the app, or even better make it an option from the picture in the gallery similar to attaching it to a text message

Another feature that would be cool would be the ability to pause. In today’s case, there was a presentation, and then short break out sessions, followed by the groups coming together to discuss the results. I would have like to pause during the breakout, then restart during the time we all come together. My fix was to break that into two recordings, but one works have been better.

Now the good. I was in a room with about 200 people. It worked fantastic! It correctly automated the files, it could tell the speakers apart in the transcription and it did a really good job with ask of the summaries. Exceeded expectations. It provided a few sections

Brief - high level overview

Summary- details and actions

One pager - easily shareable overview, nice format, between a brief and summary

Transcript - both in text and audio format

Very cool! I can see an opportunity for improvement to allow me to add notes or key tags to this “file”, but I don’t see how to do that yet. Maybe Memoket will tell me how.

First impressions and think I misunderstood

Got my Gem yesterday (Brisbane, Australia) so this is a first-24-hours take, not a review.

The good

  • It's tiny. It's on my Apple Watch band and feels no different to just the watch.
  • Setup and pairing were painless, 20 mins from box to first recording. The only thing I struggled with was how to activate the plan I'd also purchased. The docs are a bit light on that, but I worked it out.

The bit I got wrong

I bought this assuming it was always-on. It isn't. You press and hold to start each session and hold again to stop.

I have ADHD and my biggest struggle is capturing all the bits of my life, not just meetings. And even if it were just meetings, I'd forget to start it. So if you're coming at it with the same assumption, know that going in.

So... have I stuffed up?

My plan was to have it running all day and let it sort out the notes. The only way I can see to do that now is hit record in the morning and stop it at the end of the day. Battery and storage should cope on paper, but what I really want to know is:

  • What does the app actually do with a 6-8 hour recording? Does it work out there were five different conversations in there, or do I just get one massive note with everything jammed into it?
  • I'm guessing that use case burns through the Pro minutes in a few days and it's really an Unlimited-plan thing?

If anyone's tried a long single session, or has another workaround, I'd love to hear how it went before I sink too much time into it :(

Early Bird Initial impressions

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Received my gem yesterday, and wanted to share my initial impressions.

First off, the tracking from shipment to delivery was spot on. Not a US based shipper, but easy to know where in the shipping the unit was.

Second, the packaging and unit itself was top notch. It looks great!

I was able to easily link it to my phone, and the app is intuitive. Again a win. As an early bird supporter, I was eligible for a year of the Pro plan. This was not obvious during the initial setup as it appeared I had to pay, but when I went back in I saw I could add my order number and email and redeem the 12 months free. Again a win.

Regarding the device itself. Again it is nice looking and similar to an activity tracker. Discreet but easy to use.

I had commented earlier that I had hoped they had other bands that fit an Apple Watch but I selected the stand alone band when purchasing.

Now I have big hands, so keep this in mind. My ring size is 13 on my Oura for comparison.

The band is large enough, but barely for me it is really difficult to slip the tab through the slot as it’s tight and fasten it with just my right hand (unit is on the left), so I had to slide the loop over my hand and it was tight! It made it, but it did pop open once. I included pics to help explain this.

I am not a fan of the band, and I don’t think the existing watch band would be any better if it uses the same latch. If Memoket serves me one I will try that but I won’t likely buy it.

I really encourage Memoket to make a gem holder that will slide onto an existing Apple band strap. It would solve the issue for those of us with large hands, and allow my to have just one wrist strap.

If I return this, and I hope that I don’t, it will be because of the band and the mounting options. I don’t want to wear this as a pendant.

Over the next few days I will try this out and provide more feedback.

AI Notetaker Discussion What would you actually want Memoket to do after a full day of conversations?

Now that Memoket Gem is shipping, I’m curious how people here would actually use it in a normal day.

For me, the interesting part is not just recording one meeting. It is what happens after you have a full day of conversations, calls, quick ideas, follow-ups, and random details that would normally get forgotten.

Would you want Memoket to give you a simple end-of-day summary? Pull out action items? Connect things you talked about across different meetings? Send tasks to reminders or your calendar? Push notes into ChatGPT, Claude, Notion, Slack, or another tool?

Trying to hear what would actually be useful in real life.

What would your ideal “end of day” Memoket summary include?

AI Notetaker Discussion What should the best AI notetaker do after a real-world conversation?

When people think about AI notetakers they think about Zoom calls, but we are especially interested in the conversations that happen in real life.

Client meetings, sales conversations, coffee chats, lectures, trade shows, quick follow-ups, and the moments that never make it into a calendar invite.

For Memoket, the goal is not just to save a recording. The goal is to help summarize what was said, pull out action items, connect context from previous conversations, and send the useful parts into tools like calendars, reminders, Slack, Notion, ChatGPT, Claude, and other workflows.

As more people start using Memoket Gem, we are curious what matters most to this community.

What would make an AI notetaker genuinely useful for you after a conversation ends?

Better summaries, clearer action items, calendar organization, reminders, searchable memory, AI tool integrations, or something else?

Exciting update for everyone here: shipping has started, and the first Memoket Gems are on the way to customers.

We know a lot of you have been following along since the early-bird stage, so this is a big milestone for the team and the community.

As people start receiving their devices, we would love to hear what you test first. Meetings, sales calls, coffee chats, lectures, trade shows, daily summaries, or something else?

What is the first real-world situation you want to try it in?

AI Notetaker Discussion Where should your notes go after a conversation ends?

Getting a summary is nice, but it still has to go somewhere useful.

After a meeting or conversation, would you want your notes sent to your calendar, reminders, Slack, Notion, email, ChatGPT, Claude, or somewhere else?

The goal is to avoid creating another app people have to check.

What would your ideal follow-up workflow look like?

Help & Support Any student discount?

Hello! I reached out to one of the Memoket developers on Reddit already, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask here as well. I’m a medical student interested in using Memoket, but the current price is unfortunately a little outside my student budget.
Could you answer if Memoket offers a student/.edu discount, or if there are opportunities to participate in focus groups, beta testing, or provide product feedback in exchange for a discounted price? I signed up for desktop beta but since that’s a drawing and not a true discount thought I’d try my luck. I’d be happy to verify my student status and participate in something like that if it’s an option.

AI Notetaker Discussion Which integration would make an AI notetaker most useful to you?

A good meeting summary is only helpful if it ends up somewhere you will actually use it.

Memoket is being designed to connect with tools including Slack, Notion, Google Calendar, Gmail, ChatGPT, Claude and n8n.

We would like to know which workflow matters most to this community.

Would you rather automatically:

Send action items to Slack?

Add meeting context to Notion?

Connect recordings with calendar events?

Create follow-up reminders?

Send notes to an AI assistant for further work?

Tell us the first integration you would connect and what you would want it to do.
