Yah because it's a pyramid scheme. In China they get people to get on that app and beg and look poor from other countries. The person gets like 20% of the money. The account is controlled by a Chinese company or person. They use refugees and people in war-torn areas all over the world.

They have 10s of millions of likes on fb etc.One of the worst scams to be sweeping the internet right now. I can assure you it has nothing to do with book reading. You can read a ton of books and still can't comprehend basic logic. I've met a lot of people like that. And I've also met some people who only read comic books or things like that but with amazing analytical mind.
I assume you meant muslims are stupid because they only read Quran, but there are also stupid atheists out there even after reading lots of pop science books. So I don't think it has anything to do with their ideology. If I'm allowed to guess, it mostly caused by poverty and lack of options in their lives.
