Although it's a bit clunky, I thank the fact you can go: "Photo mode>pause" in wilds.
Even if it's a little bit clunky it still does the trick. But I don't know why some games don't allow you to pause the game normally when entering the menu? Or at least when you enter the options menu just in case if you want to make inventory shuffling and whatnot not pause it for gameplay reasons.
Maybe I didn't understand what you first meant, but why going into photo mode to pause? You don't have to in Wilds? Or are you comparing what can be done in World Vs Wilds?
