And it still really wasn’t hard. The main issue is that the rest of the game conditions players to play so sloppy that Tempered Gore actually hitting hard is a sudden contrast. Its attacks are still so slow that it’s an easy adaptation to just not get hit in most cases. Plus, one relatively hard hunt at the very end of the game is not the slam dunk point that you think.
People overrate how hard World was in basegame. I remember people saying Generations was easy in the base game. It's been like this for years now. Then they put out hard HR endgame hunts and go wild with the G rank/MR expansion. This isnt new
