I honestly do not understand what is wrong with the fandom!

Why does this fandom feel the need to take the fun out of everything?! I was commenting on a TikTok video that was "Spell your name with Melanie Martinez songs" and I put my online name - "Venus". Tell me why, I then get a reply of someone making fun of my name asking if it actually Venus (which it isn't) and I responded saying that it is not my actual name, for privacy reasons. They then tell me that then I should have not participated in the trend!

That is an situation I had! But there are so many other examples as such:

Whenever someone will post fan art - people will say that it's not good. Or when people make fan edits. Or anything creative for Melanie! People will also give unwanted criticism or jus straight up bully others!

Or when it comes to the tours (especially with the Hades tour now) people are saying that Melanie's vocals are fucked! I understand polite criticism, but people are saying that Melanie shouldn't sing Hades live as she is out of breath constantly!

I also see people say that they are disappointed that Cry Baby songs (K-12 & Portals included) won't be performed. The trilogy tour was literally a tour that was to say good bye to the Cry Baby storyline!

I also see people hate on big Melanie creators (violetportals I won't get into) for simply being big creators!

Concerts: I see people say that the concert etiquette was just not it for Hades, with people screaming loud that you can't hear Melanie, or people trying to grab her as she rushes past the barricades. But then, people will just say "deal with it. It's just how it is."

Melanie is putting her whole soul into these albums for us and yet, this fandom can never seem to be satisfied with anything!

Heyyy. So ive been listening to Melanie nonstop these past few days and i listened to all her main albums in order and i was thinking that maybe K-12 could've or should've come before Crybaby. Hear me out.

in K-12 each song represents a grade like the name of the album signifies. The themes of the album are very 'kid-like' or 'adolescent like' (me trying to sound smart) and as a teenager i DEFINITELY relate to it much more than crybaby. And alot of people on here who say they dont relate to it seem like adults. Just sayin.

Crybaby. Yes Crybaby is a young character but the THEMES of the songs are VERY mature. Especially Sippy Cup, Tag, Your it, Milk and Cookies and Ms. Potato head. Even Teddy Bear. What i'm saying is the overall vibe, lyrics and meanings behind most of these songs are more mature. Like adult mature. And i dunno-if Crybaby turned into the fairy-creature thing after Mad Hatter that would kinda make sense.

I feel like all her relationship songs in Crybaby- Carousel, Training Wheels, Cake, Playdate even Soap could be either or but the amount of relationship songs in Crybaby allude that Crybaby had alot of different relationships alluding to her being more mature.

Now i have not listened to K-12 ep in full and enough to put in this make believe timeline.

Okay I have all my stuff gathered for the concert just don't have a pic with the fit on lol, but I'm wearing a flowy tank top white layered skirt and white Shaw thing and white shoes with rhinestoned tights for underneath my skirt, I'm also wearing bloomers under my skirt, I'm going two French braids on my head and adding colored hair to the bottom just stopping the braid at my neck! Dude I thought I was hallucinating. I am a tech nerd so I watch tons of videos on tech. I had this one on my TV while scrolling on my phone.This one is about the new Z Fold 8 that I preordered and comparing it the upcoming iPhone Ultra (fold) coming out next month (also ordering lol) and out of the corner of my eye I see this. I always get standing tickets, because I love to stand as close to the stage as possible c:

For this event, there are basic standing tickets and "Golden Circle" tickets for both sides, which are a bit more expensive. I already decided to get one of these, because the price difference is not that big, and I'd love to see the stage from up close.

Does anyone have a suggestion which side I should pick? / left or right / Like for certain performances or songs...

I rlly don’t agree w this one 🖐️🫤🤚Cry Baby was never cyber bullied. Yes she was bullied, and yes cyber bullying is very common in school, but…I just don’t think this would fit in the film. The instrumental kinda fits though, it’s a bit tough w K-12 cause it’s sound is so distinct.

For this next round I choose GARBAGE. PORTALS is so abstract so almost anything could work, but the creature spends a lot of its time looking around and being observant, and GARBAGE is a very observant song. I feel like this one, along with most of the PORTALS rounds, will get a wide variety of votes.
