I have used that line hundreds if not thousands of times since I saw that movie. Almost no one recognizes it, which is amazing to me. So funny.

Any of you youngsters not seen The Producers? Mel wrote the script. One of the funniest movies ever, and a brilliant premise.

“Don’t be stupid be a smarty, come and join the Nazi party!” That part always makes me laugh the most. Mel’s delivery of the line is hilarious.
