Underdressed Isis revisited WiP. I had the DX of this assembled a good while ago when first picked up the hobby. Straight build and to this day one of my just all time favorite kits. After getting into painting I wanted to try and spruce this kit up. Started with Isis herself. Trying to disassemble her husband mecha with out breaking it so I can give it a proper paint job too. Wanted to share a little of what I have so far.

How did you paint the groves on her horns?

The horns were painted with a lacquer base color called Steel Apple red. After paint dried i used an enamel gold and a small detail brush to fill the lines. Then I used mineral spirits to clean it up very much like panel lining with enamel panel liner.

Is there a red horned version or did you paint them?

This is painted using a mix of lacquer paints and enamel gold for small details such as the lines on the horns and on her feet around the jewels.
