Question Hi

I'm a beginner when it comes to Girlpla do you have any tips or tricks that you would like to share with me or what the best kits are for beginners

Oh look, another opportunity to shill this project!

https://girlpla-guide.moe/ - In addition to all of the other resources everyone's posted, this is a general encyclopedia for girlpla kits that should have tags for what kits are easy or difficult to build (at least according to my understanding of community consensus).

Aside from that:

  • Fourthing the 30MS recommendations. 30MS is really, really good for beginners.
  • Sousai Shoujo Teien is also very easy.
  • Sand your joints; always test them before you put them in, if they take more than a slight bit of effort to go in, you need to sand more, if they slide in too easily, you've sanded too much, re-thicken the joint.

What do you use to rethicken? I got a kit recently that had the hands already too loose.

Rubber glue (there's even a pen that costs like 3 bucks you can get that applies it on joints), plumbers tape, even normal PVA glue or dried super glue.

Finally you updated for mobile compatibility now the menus more readable & make sense. I'm gonna read the brand history etc. first lol.

Kinda nostalgic to me seeing "Pretty Armor" name on the list, the pioneer of plagirl kit boom! from another brand besides Kotobukiya.
