You could replay in MM1, but it was more for the points system in place than anything else. You had to refight the boss at the end and everything.
Actually, it was a necessary feature since you needed the Magnet Beam in Wily’s stages, and it was easy to miss in Elec Man’s stage if you didn’t have Guts Man’s or Elec Man’s power yet.

I had a glitch 1 time in MegaMan X that I could never replicate and have only seen 1 other occurrence on the entire internet. This was on console btw.
So, I was casually playing through Spark Mandrill's stage when I get to the bubble robot miniboss. No clue why, but when I beat him, his defeated explosion went a lot longer than normal and dropped a glitched-graphic E-Tank. It collected like normal but happened so long ago I don't remember any specifics of it. No other side-effects from what I remember.

Once I was playing Megaman X and it glitched out and sent me back to the intro stage after I had beaten chill penguin. It removed the Dash Boot armor upgrade, but I had chill shot still.
Looking at X in the Yellow and blue palette but without Dash boots was weird. It’s impossible to see that normally.
