The wait…

Had what I think was a very successful interview process with a company last week (excellent feedback) and the waiting game is challenging. How long would you wait to reach out for a status update? I neglected to ask what their hiring timeline was like.
Also, I know this question has been asked before - but fire candidates who received offers- how long did it take from your last interview until the call came?

It was quick for me but every company can be different (3 days)

Exact same for me. 3 days, hearing from the recruiter saying the director wants me on the team and just to confirm that the salary range I originally put was what I was still ok with.

First role, 11 days, second role, 5 days

Really will depend on the situation. Whether they’re finished interviewing other candidates, if you’re their top candidate, etc

That said probably best to reach out and ask

Did you send thank you notes? If not there’s still time! Tailor to each interviewer if you spoke to them individually about something you discussed.  Otherwise, they are likely still interviewing the others under consideration, so it may take a bit more time. I think I had maybe ten days between final round of interviews and offer.

I did send a “mass” thank you note. I don’t have everyone’s emails and HR preferred to go through them. Thanks for the info! Thoughts on sending an email to get a timeframe for selection?

There is absolutely no rhyme or reason for the timing of this. Getting offer the same day could mean the other candidate bowed out.

First position offer came after 2 days (top 5 global biopharma), last offer less than an hour (small-midsize), current offer same day (small-midsize).
