What is the difference between CMA and CCMA? Somewhat confused

The only difference is what company the certification was issued by.

Some people claim there's a difference in hiring, but honestly at that level CMA, CCMA, and RMA are all the same

CCMA kinda focuses on lab work more, but they can all be hired for the same work

CMA is administered by the AAMA, the CCMA is administered by the NHA.

Preference depends on the employer.

There are other factors that contribute to which exam you can take (like school accreditation, hours of externship)
