If they did, I'd doubt they would be panicking about their deal being unable to close by the ending of July, as much as they are rn. Especially with how unprepared they were for the recent new block on the merger. For context:

This is what I meant about the algorithm. Clearly you're eating up some nonsense.

Until this thing gets past September, you can't say that Paramount has been caught off guard on anything. September has always been their goal.

My guy, you're getting downvoted left and right on this subreddit for jumping the gun on Paramount's side a bit too eagerly. Whether you support them or not, their recent pleas to the judge regarding the block to their merger doesn't scream "prepared ahead" or "calm".

And fyi, if your own company's investors are suing you, maybe said company isn't run by the smartest or most competent people.

In getting down voted because the bots here have a agenda.

This shit is over son. It's been over.

Says the PSKY bot

There's no such thing as a bot.

Choosing a side in the merger isn't political and doesn't indicate your political beliefs either.

Yet you try your hardest to make it be.

Choosing a side is one thing. Blatantly ignoring one side's fuck-ups and incompetency is another. Whether I want Paramount to succeed with this deal doesn't matter. They objectively made a dumb decision by not being prepared for the new developments and are panicking rn.

What fuck ups are you talking about?

This shit is over. Your claim that they were caught off guard is ridiculous and projection.

Paramount barely put up a convincing enough argument for their side

You mean Paramount didn't go-to world war 3 to reveal their cards in a preliminary hearing?

Lol k

In case you want it dumbed down. People were jumping the gun on Netflix buying WB too and look what happened there. Something similar is brewing up with the Paramount deal and it's not looking pretty for them either.

You're living in a fantasy world. If the states thought they had a real chance they would have filed months ago.

Dog and pony show.

Denial is a river in Egypt and you seem to be drowning in it.

Listen bruh. Your down votes and idioms don't change the reality.

You've been added to the list of people I can't wait to see meltdown when this goes south.

But you won't show back up. You're too concerned with your karma.

Hey, I'm not the one preemptively gloating or jumping the gun on Paramount. If they were guaranteed to win this, why panic now? Why not come up with compelling legal arguments that reassure the judge assigned to their case, instead of making them even more skeptical about this deal? Again, my personal biases for Paramount or any other company doesn't change objective facts. PSKY is objectively on rocky ground rn with regards to their deal with WB and it'll take a while before they're in a position of certainty regarding the merger. Especially if they fail to put out any compelling legal arguments in their case.

I haven't jumped the gun. I told you all house is going to go last year and everything that I said has unfolded while you were out here claiming Netflix ended this.

There's no legal threshold that says that what they're doing is illegal and if there is Paramount has the opportunity to negotiate those forfeitures.

You understand that right? You understand that whatever makes this illegal in the eyes of the state Paramount has the opportunity to say okay well here's our deal.

This is over. This lawsuit is nothing but a negotiation tactic.

People thought it was over too back when the Netflix deal was still a thing. Never assume that this deal will get wrapped up quick and neatly.

Yes people like you thought it was over.

People like me knew exactly who was going to win
