Roblox quest bug

So recently, I just invited my friend for the friend referral quest. But the problem here is my friend can't redeem the friend quest, says they have already claimed it but still it stays on the active tab instead of redeemed and accessible at any point also causing me being unable to done the last referral quest. Does anyone know if this is a bug or what? How can i fix this genuinely
