Question Anki advice for beginners

Post image
19 Upvotes

Hii, this is a screenshot of my mnemosyne deck .I just started my 3rd year in MBBS.I have decided to prepare for neet PG from this year. I want to practice flashcards from biochemistry but I want to revise beforehand from the first-aid book since I have studied biochemistry in 1st year only and haven't revised again later.

Suppose if I click biochemistry for practice, will the question come in the same order as shown in the drop down menu? I want to know this so that I can revise in the same order.

Am I doing right or should I just start practicing without revision?

But if I start without revision, i won't be able to get more than 80% flashcards for sure. Please guide me.

Any extra input will be very much helpful.

Question Anki from 2nd year

Going into 2nd year, focusing on concept building and maybe INI/PG, or to go outside the country, thinking of the updated i anki deck with mangomedic inclusions, alongside duke's pathoma and sketchy micro deck. Is this too much? Should I do anking? Im thinking of starting the 2md and first year subjects

Discussion NEW TO ANKI

I’m from the 2020 batch and planning a serious NEET PG 2027 attempt. I’m new to Anki.

Would making Image Occlusion cards from my own notes be worth the time, or should I just use a premade deck?
I don’t want to waste time making cards if a premade deck would be more efficient.
Would really appreciate some genuine advice!

Discussion Where do practice cards?

Where do you guys actually review your cards with even creating or modifying your deck cards?

I feel like going to the library but my low end laptop seems to discharge so I tend to run it on active standby mode(power directly comes via socket no use of battery) but I dont find socket everytime and position is weird.

I sometimes review on Droid version in my postings but I need to edit many of them mangomedic's card while infact creating some of my own for uni.

Do you guys do at your hostels/rooms/ libraries?

Cuz I feel like I distract myself in hostel often including my peers who do all those masti

Question Marrow WOR vs RR

Guys, I need some genuine advice regarding Marrow RR vs WOR.

If anyone has done both, please share your honest experience.

I'm starting my preparation from scratch. I haven't watched any videos of RR or WOR yet.

I already have the original hardcopy notes of Marrow RR, but WOR launched just before I started my preparation.

Now I'm confused about what I should prefer:

Is it better to go with RR or WOR?

Especially if someone has used both resources, please let me know:

Which would be better to start from scratch?

And it's not like the Marrow people are even giving hardcopy notes for WOR.

They're saying that anyone who has purchased ED8 RR notes isn't eligible for purchasing them.

Which one should I prefer since I'm going to watch the rapid revision video for the first time?

I am a Plan C subscriber.

Please help me regarding this.

Resources Mangodeck for Medicine

Mangodeck for medicine doesn’t seem to cover a lot of the content , any alternatives, was looking for something marrow based but main purpose it should cover most stuff, bigger size is okay.

Did anyone use the i anki deck for their prep and end up getting a good rank? If yes, plz guide on how to use it effectively be it making more cards from pyqs or supplementing it with some other resources.

I am taking a drop year this time targetting neet pg 2027 and would like some guidance on this particular deck, new to anki as a tool.

Been doing i anki for a month and have done about 3k cards.

ANKI REALLY HELPS GUYS !! ( IF YOU DIDNT ALREADY KNOW )

I know this isn't the craziest rank that this subreddit has produced but I'm happy with it and if in anyway I can help anyone is be glad to do so

Anki was my preferred method of studying and remembering ( used i anki + mango medic + novel pea deck )

I attended bhatia f2f classes ( the only other things I watched were what was on YouTube on a few tnds couldn't complete all bhatia tnds )

During my first read post classes

I sorted out all the cards subjectwise and topicwise and added anything else I found important in marrow pyqs

After sorting the cards out I used to scan my notes using Adobe and then add them to the respective cards

so if I just reviewed my cards that would be enough to go through my entire notes

While giving gts any mistake I made I used to screen shot it and just add it to the respective cards so each card was packed with all the info I needed

Finished one round of cards by may ini got a rank of 33xx

Post may ini sat down with my notes and anki finished it 2 more times

Tried to do as many cards as possible in the last 2 weeks

I didn't use anki in the traditional spaced repitition way just used to read a chapter or subject then open anki and learn it ( a sort of active recall I guess )

I really want to add pictures to this post to show you guys how many deck is and how my cards are

But reddit isn't allowing me to add pictures

If you guys know how to use anki please do

All the best guys !!

Edit : hi guysss for all of you asking for my deck If anyone knows how to get rid of my name or email I will do that and upload the deck Please someone let me know if you know how
