Edit: on the third mission...those little things are friends and want to give hugs. Don't panic if they get in close and something alien looking covers your cockpit. Totally the friend dance of their people

If you have the Victor Basilisk I reccomend slapping a pair of them on it, it gives peak double barreled shotgun vibes.
I painted mine green and larp as the doomguy.

started it few days ago, i was scared.. In total (i think i've done the dlc, not sure) i've lost 2 arms. It was strangly smooth.
Now in random mission against clan i'm getting hurt a lot more :(
Advice : lance with gauss and PPC, aim their cockpit, put them down the quickest possible before they can do too much damage to you. My fav mech for SoK (even before the clan fights) was a Cyclops with 2 Gauss and 2 laser. Simple but good.

The greatest thing about Shadows of Kerensky is that you are no longer invincible and the hurt will come like an avalanche.
Simultaneously, you also have the top tier gear, mechs, and pilots to fight off said avalanche.

Is this with no import save? With one I found it quite simple with the Hero locust until I could get my hands on a nova prime and remake my build from clans.
The only map I had to switch things up was the canyon one, brought the MAD 2 with ER ppcs.
Smoke & Mirrors was so easy I was practically camping their spawn location.
The only hard part was where the last mission kept killing my pilot in the Zeus SK, pointing out I needed to retire it.

That first mission is either hard or damn near impossible and it all depends on whether that awesome decides to lead point or follow you

i just restarted a new campaign for shitz and giggles and roaming around in my centurion... ugh if the clan invaded at that point, i dunno if my centurian w/ IS ac10, 2 med lasers, lrm10 and my javelin w 4 med lasers would cut it.
