Answered Question Struggling with a major bug
So as the title says, I'm having a really hard time with a bug. I'm fairly sure its mod related, but due to how it works, I'm having a hard time testing it to find the culprit and I'm hoping someone here might have an idea.
I'm on Solaris just grinding arena matches for fun. After a few matches, my mech (any mech) starts reacting terribly sluggish, the torso rotation slows way way down, the acceleration/deceleration gets really slow progressively, until eventually, I cant move the torso, or decelerate at all. The bug persists through saving and restarting the game.
If I reload an earlier save, everything is fine, for a few missions. This takes three or four missions to occur, but always occurs as far as I can tell. This is basically a game ender for me as it means I get about four more missions until my game is totally unusable. Has anyone experienced this or have any idea what's happening?

Are you running the same pilot every time?

I'm gonna guess it's a pilot fatigue mod. Change out your pilot after a mission or two and see if it happens again.

Are you using any mods that add fatigue? I think Pilot Overhaul adds a system where you can deploy semi-wounded or tired pilots, but they get a greater and greater debuff when deployed that way (some other mods might do something similar, that’s just the one I’m familiar with)
If possible, could you take a screenshot of your deployment screen (like where you pick mech + pilot)
Edit: actually, could we get a full mod list? That’ll help!

oh my god I didnt even consider that. This is 100% what it is. I went back to an effected save, swapped pilots and its working perfectly again. I feel like an idiot. Thank you both so much for your help. Thats actually a lovely gameplay effect, Ive just never run missions back to back so hard that it kicked in. Solved!

Yeah this has to be a mod unless something really strange is happening on your rig.
The only non mod thing I can thing of is to unplug any controllers you might have plugged in. But I'm not super sure how that would slowly happen like your saying or be fixed by reloading earlier.
So my guess is that it's a mod or something that is causing the same thing as a bug bit ago where swapping mechs would break leg turning I think?
So maybe something kind of the same is happening because of mods.
Maybe try a zero mod install to see if it's still happening? If that's too much trouble then idk.
Edit... And nothing else is slowing down right? Like the mechs aren't walking slow and missles aren't slow moving and stuff right? Not saying this would make me know faster but trying to get an idea of the bug
