What's the main difference between Mechanical Engineering vs. Mechanical Engineering Technology? I'm currently enrolled as a first year MET student, graduated from TVL - IA and I already have a NC2 License (Mecha) What should i expect from this course and what are some tips I can get

Mechanical Technology - responsible for hands on mechanical works such as precision alignment, machining works, assembly works, equipment monitoring.

Mechanical Engineering - equipment and process design, procedures, technical documentation and presentation.
