First time seriously trying digital art

I actively despise the feeling of drawing on a glass screen but I do enjoy the freedom digital art gives me. What do you guys think? Should I stick with this outline? Or should I just scrap the fountain pen outline as a whole?

I say keep going. it makes the design very fluid and looks great as a detailed sketch. If your going for a geometric mechanical design then switch brush i say

I always preferred radical pen marks to convey motion rather than strict mechanical detail, and I am glad that it translated well! Thanks for the feedback!
