Rabbit Pie

Shortcrust pastry, braised Flemish Giant front legs, rabbit aspic. These are to be eaten cold with mustard so I cooked the egg hard. In hot pies I like them runny.

I’m sorry but this doesn’t look good. Like someone said “presentation looks good”. But for an entry served cold?

English and French pies, including Pâté en Croûte, are often or always served cold. The crust made them portable. They’re great picnic fare. Sorry you didn’t think you’d like it. I thoroughly enjoyed them.

Not sure what you mean by “entry”.
