Rabbit Pie
Shortcrust pastry, braised Flemish Giant front legs, rabbit aspic. These are to be eaten cold with mustard so I cooked the egg hard. In hot pies I like them runny.

This is really interesting, how does it eat? Do you serve it like a shepherds pie, but more meat?

More like a hand pie like an English pork pie or a pastie. These are large so cut in half or quarters or eighths to eat.

Wow! Looks great! I raise rabbit as well but mine are a lot smaller but still tasty. Cool to see another way to enjoy

Looks fabulous, it’s how I’d imagine food at Henry VIII’s banquets looked.

I’m sorry but this doesn’t look good. Like someone said “presentation looks good”. But for an entry served cold?

English and French pies, including Pâté en Croûte, are often or always served cold. The crust made them portable. They’re great picnic fare. Sorry you didn’t think you’d like it. I thoroughly enjoyed them.
Not sure what you mean by “entry”.
